TWITCH STREAM RECAP

Featuring Mark Felbinger and Samantha Castillo

What began as an idea to honor his past mentor, Tommy Castillo, Mark Felbinger (Project Director) not only delivered a thrilling story but also created a project filled with opportunities for aspiring filmmakers and actors. Inspired by stories, such as CORALINE and VELVET BUZZSAW, Mark dove even deeper into the plots while adding his own twist to the tone and objective to produce a film unlike anything seen before.

While attempting to operate within the COVID-19 pandemic, preproduction for the film proved to be difficult as locations were changing last minute and the ability to find cast and crew was challenging, not to mention the unfortunate death of one of the actors. Determination, consistency, and resiliency, however, helped the DV crew overcome the challenges to produce a long-anticipated film.

Although DEATH’S VISAGE will certainly offer its thrills to the audience, our film analysts will appreciate the layers behind the sound elements and the color palettes. While the sound includes many horror-related effects and influences to up the level of suspense, Samantha Castillo (Producer) discusses how the color palettes specifically enhance the “world” in which the characters are living. With that being said, let your analogies run wild once you hit that play button!

Until next week…
